THE TRAIL TODAY

The Santa Fe Trail is now open from the White Rock Lake Loop Trail West all the way to the edge of Deep Ellum and Fair Park.

Going West from White Rock lake you will pass Lindsy Park (water fountain location) then Randall Park (porta-potty location) --

The current Western end of the trail is Hill Ave. (The final leg of the trail connecting Deep Ellum and Fair Park should start construction early 2011)  For now simply heading North on Hill to Elm will take you to Deep Ellum. Heading South on Hill to Haskall will take you to Fair Park.

THE WHOLE WHITE ROCK TRAIL SYSTEM

This a map of the current White Rock Lake Trail system including the trail around the lake, the White Rock Creek Trail, the Santa Fe Trail and the new Cottonwood Trail.

This trail system on the completion of the Santa Fe Trail and Cottonwood Trail will stretch from downtown Dallas all the way to Plano.
