RANDALL PARK AND WOODROW WILSON/JL LONG SCHOOLS The Santa Fe Trail has already become a superhighway for kids to get safely to school in the mornings and home in the afternoons. We can only imagine that the connections between the trail and the schools would need to be greatly enhanced in the Master Plan for the Trail so that kids never have to get on the street to get to school.
Randall Park is not just a neighborhood asset but an asset for all of East Dallas. Currently this park’s facilities are being improved with a new entrance that opens on to the Santa Fe trail. We expect that over time the park will require more facilities for bike storage and perhaps better landscaping along the trail.
