TREES, SHADE AND LANDSCAPING Starting at about Randall Park all the way to the end of the Trail we have a huge need for shade. We plan to use the city Tree program to help us provide natural shade along the trail. Depending on the Master Plan recommendations we may also add artificial shade structures at some points along the trail. The plan is to use only native trees that are adapted for our climate. We expect the Master Plan to also call for some use of landscaping to provide different colors, textures and smells as people move along the trail and in different seasons of the year. Landscaping will also contribute to the different personalities of the neighborhoods and keep the trail user from getting board. |    |
